The Sterling Heights facility began production in the spring of 1998. This is a three-shift operation producing custom made thermoformable acoustical EVA barrier for automotive and commercial use. Typical manufacturing processes include universal mixing, compounding, calendar processing, laminating and surface treating to improve post adhesion applications. This facility can run small trials to large orders. Material can be produced as rolls, sheets or diced pellets to meet customer specifications. Maximum width size of blanks is 78" x 78". Maximum roll width is 78" and length depends on density of barrier, maximum of 2.5 tons per roll. Barrier is gauged from .40 to 2 lbs/ft2.
