HP Pelzer's Sterling Heights facility began production in the spring of 1998. This is a three-shift operation, producing custom made thermoformable acoustical EVA barriers for automotive and commercial use.

Typical manufacturing processes include univeral mixing, compounding, calendar processing, laminating and surface treating to improve post adhesion applications.

This facility can run small trials to large orders. Material can be produced as rolls, sheets or diced pellets to meet customer specificaiton.  Maximum width size of blanks is 78" x 78". Maximum roll width is 78" and length depends on the density of the barrier. The maximum is 2.5 tons per roll. Barriers are gauged from 0.40 to 2.0 lbs ft².
